Picking a career is not easy. When we were children adults always asked us what we want to be when we grow up. I know realize they weren’t trying to be cute; they were looking for career suggestions for themselves. If you’re currently trying to find exactly what it is you want to do with your life, let me give you some suggestions.

Don’t let a career counselor tell you what occupation to pick. All of those stupid aptitude and career tests they give you don’t tell you anything. If you have a hobby you love, who’s to say you can’t make a living from it? Also, don’t go down a list of the highest paying jobs, I would rather love my job and make decent money than hate my job and make millions. Lastly, don’t worry. If you choose a career and after awhile don’t like it, guess what, you can change.
