Only honest link trading will help you get ahead
When it comes to link trading the best policy is just plain old honest trading. I currently manage link trading on about 10 websites. It’s the webmasters that manage link trading well and honestly that I like to link with.
Whenever I come across a website that looks like a valuable trade I will let the webmaster know that I have other sites that he can trade with as well. Whenever a webmaster removes my link, or other tricks are used to manipulate link trading, he ruins the chance to have links from all my other websites. And not ony that, I let other reliable webmaster know what he’s trying to do and he loses the opportunity to have links on those sites as well.
There are a number or tricks out there to cheat link partners, and I’ve mentioned a number them in a previous blog. The fact of the matter is that cheating will ultimately leave you with less links, and will prevent you from linking with all the webmasters that are building websites with the surest foundation and the best page rank.

I just received a couple link requests from a maid cleaning service. Both of the request looked fine, but I found that both domains were pointing to the same directory on the server. If I would have fulfilled the link trade without checking things out, I would’ve had two links on my site pointing to a site with only one link back.
