SEO Tools - Web CEO Review by Adam Sorensen

There are plenty of free SEO tools available on the internet. I just want to mention one, of which I find so useful that I use it every day, Web CEO. I was so impressed with it that I went ahead and bought the full version. Well, ok… a company I work with bought it for me. But anyway, it’s a tasty tool that no SEO master should live without. Why you ask? Well let me tell you.

First off the free version is so good you may be tempted to just use it and never buy the full version. But, if your really serious about beating out your competition and taking over for your keyword phrase, I’d go ahead and pony up the cash.

Web CEO has the following features:

  • Ranking: for checking your SERPs in almost every search engine you can imagine. It breaks it out into intuitive, easy-to-understand tables that show keyword phrases and where your site is positioned in each search engine. It all keeps a history so that you can measure your success over time… or your failures. It also keeps track of your competition and where they measure up to you in the rankings
  • Keywords: This is an awesome tool for finding out what keyword phrases are actually searched for in the search engines. There’s no need being #1 in Google for a phrase that nobody searches. This tool will show you the daily world searches, the competition for the keyword phrase and it gives you a KEI value so you can target just the right keywords for your SEO battle. It also does on overall analysis of your competition and costs for CPC campaigns.
  • Optimization: This tool is excellent for optimizing html, or the pages of your site. It covers just about everything, title tags, meta tags, site theme, anchor text, file sizes, header tags etc. And it shows you how to optimize your site for each of the major search engines. It also allows you to compare your site to your competition. I’m really only scratching the surface, but you get the idea.
  • Editor: This is a full-on html editor and FTP tool. It’s not your ordinary FTP tool though, it is totally set up for optimizing your key HTML elements so that spiders will love your site.
  • Submission tool: This tool is cool for submitting your site to hundreds of search engines. Although, most SEO experts know that just linking to sites that are spidered a lot will do the job.
  • Links tool: This tool is awesome for keeping track of your backlinks and all of your competitors. It shows all the sites that link to you, and just recently they made it so that it will show you all the keyword phrases you use on all your backlinks… Very cool stuff if you ask me.

Those are the major tools. Well, the ones that I use the most. They have a few other tools that monitor your site and stuff. All in all web CEO is a must have for any webmaster that wants to get serious about SEOing their site.

Try out Web CEO I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
