When you have a scholarship, you should take full advantage of it. For instance, when I was in college, I had a scholarship that covered up to 18 credit hours per semester, so I took 18 credit hours. I am not sure people who have always had a scholarship realize how important they are until they lose them, and people who have never had a scholarship understand just how important they can be. Usually we don’t have a choice of our type of scholarship, i.e. whether it is a lump sum of cash or they cover tuition up to a certain amount of credit hours, but if it were my decision I would always choose to have up to a certain amount of credit hours covered.
