Where I live there is a “Fun Bus” that goes to Wendover, Nevada for about $18. It can be a ton of fun and is very cheap. Maybe there is a fun bus where you live, or something similar. Otherwise, you may want to check last minute travels deals on travel websites like Travelocity or Expedia.com. there are sometimes screaming deals, but you have to be ready just to book it, pack up your computer, and head to the airport. Those trips are often the most fun because they are spur of the moment, and that makes them like little adventures.
