Recently, my family has become addicted to a game called Slap Uno. It is like the regular Uno game, where you have various colored cards and you try to get rid of them, but Slap Uno has a twist. If another player plays the same card you have in your hand, you can “slap” and play out of turn. It makes the game go extremely fast, and is a lot of fun when someone slaps on a draw four (which makes the next player in turn pick up four cards), because since there are now two draw fours, the next player has to draw eight. This little addition takes a children’s game and makes it into a fun, fast-paced adult game.
