Real estate hasn’t been the best investment during the past year. House prices and land as well has been depreciating for the first time in many years. However, it will come back as it always does. Real estate over time has been one of the most reliable investments around. Now may be the time to find some bargains. The one benefit to a down economy is that it makes everything much more affordable for people who do have money to spend. For instance, I have a sister with a steady income who, under prior circumstances, would have never been able to afford a house, but now with the prices dropping she can finally afford one. So if you have money right now, you may find some interesting deals.
