As a business, you should consider more than an insurance company when you are thinking about insuring your company’s future. Often, businesses that appear to have no international exposure are destroyed and forced into bankruptcy by international companies. In college I had a professor tell me about a bicycle company. They had no international sales, made all their bikes in America, and were doing very well. However, a new, cheaper, and equal quality brand bike company opened a factory in Taiwan, where they could use the cheap labor to make bikes. This effectively forced the American company into bankruptcy. Always be looking towards insuring your company’s future from foreign competitors and risks as well as domestic ones.
