Volunteering can be a very rewarding experience. At first you may not really understand it, but over time you will come to find that there is nothing like helping people. To me, volunteering was like a new song. On your first listen, you may enjoy it a little, but you aren’t really into it. But, after you have heard it a few times, you can’t get it out of your head and at every opportunity you listen to it. One difference between volunteering and music though is you don’t get sick of volunteering like you do of a song you have heard too much. Volunteering is like that new song in “this is the best song ever” phase forever. It grows on you, and anyone who has never volunteered should try it.
