Do you like live music better than studio-recorded music? For me, it really depends on the band. Some bands are great live, others are not. For instance, listening to a rapper live is not that great. I would rather hear them with an auto-tuner in a studio. But other bands, like rock bands or bands like Dave Matthews that do a lot of “jamming” can pull off a great live show. Which makes me wonder, how come bands don’t ever release new music on a live cd? To clarify, how about John Mayer puts his next album of new music out live? No one has ever done it, and I am not quite sure why. It would really an advantage to bands that are great at live performances.
