Rumors are starting to spread that Windows 7 will be released in 2009. It makes sense. From a financial standpoint it makes great sense considering Windows Vista hasn’t performed nearly as well as Microsoft would have liked. Those who have tested the new operating system are saying its above and beyond anything they have used before.

I, personally, use a Mac so it is very intriguing to me to read reviews from Mac users raving about Windows 7. I wonder if it will be enough to get me to switch. It seems that Mac users are very loyal to their brand of computer. If Microsoft were to announce Windows 7 release date it may deter buyers from purchasing a computer until the operating system is released.
