Developing a website using preset tools on a program like Dreamweaver or iWeb has its pros and cons. First, it makes web development accessible for novices who have never programmed a website before. Also, it can make designing a website take a half hour, as opposed to half a month. However, you also lose a lot of control when you decide to use one of these tools. You are very limited in what you can do; however, there are more advanced modes in Dreamweaver to create some pretty great content. Still though, unless you understand advanced programming techniques and know the basic underlying structure in web development, you’ll have a hard time expanding beyond the basic features.
