as six different websites. So if your website is generating over 200,000 hits per week for example, all the credit and search engine rankings may be being split between 6 different variations of your website.
This is unacceptable, to fix this problem simply use this code in a .htaccess file.

RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.example.com/$1 [L,R=301]
The way to do it is to create a new text doc on your desktop, paste that code in with your correct website domain name in it. Save the file as well, name it temp file. Then go to your file manager of your host and upload the file into your root directory and rename it .htaccess. Contact your hosting provider for more information as some host do not allow .htaccess and they may have other methods.
2. Keywords and Content.
Be sure to not only have your keywords in play, but to also use them in your content. Be sure to have actual text on your pages. Not text in images. Google isn’t about to OCR the entire web for your text in an image that’s unreadable by the search engines !
3. Domains.

4. Website Marketing.
Website marketing is fairly easy, its just complex. So if you can keep a “things to do” list, and stick to it, you should be fine. Good website promotion includes, but is not limited, a good XML site map, relevant content, good links coming in to your website, periodic search engine submission, and a professional and usable website. Not to mention traffic. If you engage in affiliate marketing or have an ad based income generation model, then your content must solve a problem or help some one. If you have a product do the same, just make sure you can accept credit cards directly and work on your analyzing, targeting, and mingling with your demographic. This can be done via social networking, forums, or simply buying targeted traffic.
